Chalet Perdu is your home for your family skiing holiday. You will find it warm and comforting, lots of furry throws to nuzzle up in while watching an apres ski film and lots of toboggans for outdoor snow play. A toy cupboard is full of surprises, colouring books, traditional board games and Wii and apple Tv. Help chef decorate cakes or raost marshmallows in the apres ski cabin. We have a snowman to build every week and lots of snowballs to throw

The ski day

Breakfast is casual so jammies are normal, you will love our pancakes and you can have them as many days as you want. When its time for skiing pull on your ski clothes and walk just 100m to the ski hire shop where the really nice ski helpers will give you skis, boots and a helmet.  Next check that your skipass is safely stored in your jacket and walk across to ski school. Each ski school and class has a special number and flag to meet at.  You might be having private lessons or you might be in a group lesson and its important that Mum and dad know where you will be picked up from and when.  If you are having lessons at 9 you need to be up early

At lunchtime all mountain and village restaurants offer a little childrens menu. Its a time to rest, get warmed up and enjoy. In the busy school holiday weeks at New Year and in February maybe book a table indoors. At Chalet Perdu we offer a ski to dine route planner and restaurant booking service   Its also easy to ski back to Chalet Perdu during the day, maybe someone is too tired and cold and wants to play in the chalet.

You will find lots of mums, grandparents, nannies, babies and toddlers meeting up for morning coffee at La Croix Blanche, a restaurant overlooking the childrens ski area

The Grand Cry is a dedicated children’s ski mountain, where children can ski safely and freely away from adults skiers and boarders.
