Patricia James bought Chalet Perdu 19 years ago ‘I came to view property in Morzine but fell in love with the very pretty village of Les Gets. When I saw Chalet Perdu and its position looking unto the main piste it was an instant purchase, actually within 20 minutes’ The chalet had been built by one of the French families in the village many years ago and only came up for sale following a family dispute. The chalet has been lovingly restored and is much used by Patricia and her family.

Patricia originally from Northern Ireland lives with her partner James in Woburn Sands, just an hour from London. She is a keen golfer and member of the prestigious Woburn Gold Club ‘ the golf course in Les Gets is stunning too, imagine looking at Mont Blanc while you tee off, simply breathtaking’
Patricia, James and their five children all enjoy skiing and spend many happy family holidays in the winter and summer at Chalet Perdu. ‘i have designed everything at Chalet Perdu around the needs of my children and hope that other families feel that its a home not a rental property. Furry throws to cuddle up in, comfy beds and seating all around the garden to catch the sun’.

Patricia and James are keen gardeners and the garden at Chalet Perdu is planted with many beautiful shrubs, flowers and bulbs. The balconies are draped with geraniums in summer and the terraces are positioned for all day sun

Holly their dog is an Australian Shepherd and loves Les Gets. Holly travels to the Alps throughout the year. In winter she jumps into the telecabin with the family and is happy running through the snow as the family ski. Hollys favourite spot is the weekly market hoping she will get treats of ham and cheese and is a regular at Bar Bush or in the restaurants of Les Gets
